You may have already met Lucas Ferguson at SPIEL Essen this year, but we wanted to properly welcome him to the All About Games family!
Originally a member of the AAGC demonstration team, Lucas has been involved in the board game world since 2017, working at domestic events including UK Games Expo, Insomnia, Tabletop Gaming Live and a raft of local pop-up demos across the country. He is also a violinist and music graduate, as well as a voice actor and a self-professed passable tennis player.
Most recently Lucas has been managing student radio and filmmaking at the prestigious Wellington College. His day-to-day oversight, alongside the planning and execution of several special broadcasts, tripled the listenership at the station while representing the College to the wider community through complex, high-profile events. He also assisted with their marketing efforts, including filming and editing the first episode of a new feature-length series to mark the launch of theirA flagship educational R&D program, ‘The Bridge’.
In his role as Events Executive with AAG, Lucas is looking forward to creating a varied, wide-ranging demonstration program to represent our partners and their products. He is a passionate advocate for giving people the chance to succeed in their areas of expertise, and is excited to work with designers, publishers and distributors to help create the next generation of iconic board games.
Welcome to the team, Lucas!
